AWAY DAY TRIPS - travelling by train.

The first AWAY DAY trip to Bradford on Avon was held on 6th September 2022 and this was run again on Friday 26th April 2023 as some members were unable to come with us on the first trip. By popular request, we will be returning to Bradford on Avon on 21st September 2024.
The second AWAY DAY trip was to Christchurch on 12th October 2022.

BUS PASS TRIPS

Chris also organises "bus pass" trips. We have visited Abbotsbury, Wareham and Blandford Forum. On a visit to Dorchester we had a very interesting self guided tour around the Shire Hall Museum and a walk along the canal, past the old prison, Hangman's Cottage and the Roman Town House. We visited the Abbotsbury Swannery and saw the cygnets, fed the swans and conquered the maze with a little help from one of the Swannery's staff! Sherborne and Abbotsbury Gardens have also been on our agenda.

Places on these trips MUST be booked with the Group Leader.
Chris Hill and Dave Cave organise and lead these trips.
