The purpose of the group is to share experiences in a relaxed and informal environment, and learn the basics of Lipreading to make the most of our hearing. This does not include sign language, which is a different skill.  The group has been running since November 2025

The group leader has a lifetime’s experience of living with a hearing impairment in the hearing community, and lipreading.
